Beta terms
Mitt Talk is in private beta. These are the terms for taking part. They are short on purpose.
It's a beta
The apps and the dashboard are unfinished software, provided as they are, free of charge during the beta. Things will change and some will break. Beta builds expire and must be updated. We may end the beta, or anyone's access to it, at any time.
Have a backup plan on game day
Bluetooth can drop, batteries run down and software has bugs. Do not rely on Mitt Talk as your only way to communicate with players. Keep your signs or a wristband ready. Mitt Talk is a coaching aid and must never be used where a missed or wrong message could put someone at risk.
Your league's rules are your responsibility
Rules on electronic communication and wearable devices differ by league, level and season. It is up to you to confirm that using Mitt Talk is allowed where you play, and to follow any conditions attached.
Your data is yours
You own the team and game data you put into Mitt Talk. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having permission to record the players you enter.
Fair use
Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, access another team's data, or share your login outside your coaching staff. Do not use Mitt Talk to send anything abusive or unlawful.
Feedback
The point of a beta is to learn. If you send us ideas or bug reports, we may use them to improve Mitt Talk without owing you anything for them.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Mitt Talk is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including the outcome of any game. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the beta develops and will post the new version here. Continuing to use Mitt Talk after a change means you accept it. Questions go to info@mitttalk.com.
